Licensed Nurse (LPN/LVN) Career

Providing basic bedside care is a common job description for licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and licensed vocational nurses (LVNs). The licensed practical nurse is known as an LVP everywhere except California and Texas, where it's known as an LVN or licensed vocational nurse. Regardless of the name, if you like personal interaction and want to establish real relationships with patients, this is a career path worth considering. Certificates could be earned in less than a year, on average, depending on your course load.
